If I leave it unattended for even a few minutes, it displays only the background, and then I have to click on my name on a new screen to resume work.

PS wants to control the paper size and hp says the paper size selected in Print Shop does not match what is in the tray. Both vendors say they don't have a problem on their end.

... just not the heading. It looks right in print view, and also in the Print Preview. I tried saving it as an .mdi file and printing from that, but that didn't work either. I am using Word 2003 on a Vista O/S. I verified that my printer driver is the correct one for Vista. (The printer is an HP Photosmart 8450).

I was thinking of selling everything and purchase the HP 3310 witch has networking, film scanning, and six colors capabilities. Or should I just replace my old photo printer with another, and if so which one? The thing of it is... you can get the HP PhotoSmart 8450 for dirt.
