I have an HP photosmart 8450. It is a network printer. The problem is it is huge and my desk is small. I also don't print that much -- but when I do I appreciate the high quality pictures it can make. I want to put the printer in a closet with some sort of wireless card that can be accessed by the computers.

It's an HP Photosmart 8450. Trying to install it comes up with an error stating "Setup is unable to decompress and copy all of the program files needed to proceed with the installation. Contact your software vendor. Error 112." All of the usual fixes and lots of unusual ones for this error have been tried.

We are thinking about purchasing an HP Photosmart 8450. However, we would use the printer not just for photos, but also for regular printing (about 70/30 text/photos). I understand the printer is excellent for photos, but how well does it do on plain text and/or text and graphics (say, from a greeting card program)
